Truck Shop Orange, Ca 1970 Outer Grille quality?

My dad is looking for an outer grill shell with the stamped letters for his '70 and we just can't stomach paying $1000 for a NOS one. We see that LMC has one for like $800-$900 (don't remember). And Truck Shop out of Cali has one listed with letters for $495. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this grill shell's quality or lives close and could stop by the store to check it out for us Thanks in advance.

I bought one from them a few years ago. Unless the quality has changed they are not worth the $$$. Very flimsy and dents real easy if you lean on it. Plus it scratched up pretty bad in a short period of time. The fit was OK but had to do some finessing.

Why not just pickup a repro without letters for $250-$300 and use the letter stickers on it? Looks just as good for a whole lot less!
