VintageAir vs OldAir

Im about to buy A/C for my 72 truck ,which system is better and why ? Vintage Air cost more but the main thing I want is the best system for hot and humid climate as this will be my daily driver after the frame off is completed.
Thanks for all replys .

Re: VintageAir vs OldAir

I haven't personally purchased either, but read a lot of threads on them. From what I've read, there's really not a big difference and more of a personal preference. I'd base my decision on 2 things: 1. Which block off plate you like better on the firewall (If you're smoothing the firewall yourself then this doesn't matter) and 2. Which inside control you like better.

Vintage Air is probably more expensive due to their advertising.

There is also Classic Air out of Florida ( I think). I have Old Air and it works great for my needs.

I live in Texas and it gets very humid. I purchased vintage and couldn't be happier. Get there newest model it I great. I know it is more money but well worth it.

Re: VintageAir vs OldAir

Thanks for all your input guys ,I ordered Vintage Air early today from Auto Air and Audio out of Winter Haven ,Florida for $1295 shipped to my door which was cheaper than any other vendor I could find due partly to no sales tax in Florida and free shipping.I had asked the same question on Team Chevelle today and most agreed that they liked Vintage Air best .I also ordered a new Painless wiring harness for the old girl so she will be all new when she comes home from the bodyshop someday.
