Re: GM 153 CI 4 Cylinder Engine Parts Wanted

I was trying to find an original valve cover like the one on my engine, but could not find one. I wanted to replace mine because the tall oil fill tube on mine was added by someone. So I bought a MerCruiser valve cover, which from my research in the same motor. I've seen some finned push rod cover plates on some motors but have found anyone selling them.

If anyone has other parts for sale let me know. Thanks

I know where a complete 4 cylinder out of a 66 chevy II is. Not sure if that's the 153 or not. I'd could inquire about a price if you're interested. It even had a script valve cover that said Chevy. I'm sure he would only sell complete though.

THanks, I'm just looking for parts at this time. I think the wife might get a little upset if a brought another engine home. She hasnt notiched the 153 ci that I just picked up.
