SNELL rating FYI

Don't forget guys and gals, this is a new year for the Snell rating on helmets. If memory serves me right it now has to be 2005 or newer.

I just checked mine last night..... Looks like I will be looking to invest in a new helmet.
Any recommendations would be great thanks.

Yes, the 2000 date series helmets are no longer accepted. I'm a retailer for DJ Safety and currently offer their carbon fiber helmets at wholesale. PM me for more info if you're interested. http://djsafety.com/HelmetETC.html

Thanks for posting.

This is a helmet year for me (belts, too) so I'm gathering information to make my selection.

May as well get a new jacket while I'm at it...

Let me know if I can help. I'm finishing up quite a few equipment re-certifications for the upcoming season for customers, so I'm at DJ Safety several times a week these days (almost every day just before the March Meet...phew, glad that's over).
