The small window was a 67 only thing. 67's also came with big windows.

large back windows in a 67, was an option(from what I have been told).

Seems that in 68-on it was manditory to have a large back window.

Yes it was an option.. I believe it was called the paneramic view rear window. I don't have the option number though. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I have seen a few 68's with the small back window, maybe some left overs or an option, not sure.

To the best of my knowledge, 67's came standard with the small back window but the big back window was optional. Starting in 68, big back windows were standard. I have never seen an original 68 with a small back window but I suppose it's possible as GM was good at using leftover parts from previous years. My 67 has the optional big back window. The option code is "04A10AA" and the description reads "PANORAMIC CAB EQ". Hope this helps.

Yah. It's funny. People say that the 67 with the small back window is "rare". However, I belive that the 67 with the big back window is whats rare. Not a lot of them out there.
Pont does have one on his 67 SWB 4X4. And MAN does that thing look sweet! Just my .02

They say rare becouse they see all the 68 - 72s with a big back window, so the one they have is glamored by calling it rare. Just like you can make any 327 more desirable by calling it a corvette 327.
The large back window is in deed less common than the small one.
There were officially no small windows produced in 10 - 30 trucks, however, like stated before, the large trucks did continue to run them well into the next generation of trucks.
