5.3 LS A/C compressor mount in 72 chassis

I'm putting an 04 5.3 LS engine out of a Avalanche into a 72 Chassis. I reading the various build threads I know I need to clearance the frame for the compressor lines. The problem I have is the engine mounts interfere with the compressor mount. I have the flat plate mount adaptor that mounts the LS engine in the old chassis but it puts the engine mount too far farward on the engine for the compressor to mount. Any suggestions? Thanks

Alan Grove makes some brackets for the LS. They list the dimensions. Hope it helps, the are about as cheap as you can find. http://www.alangrovecomponents.com/LS.htm

I had to trim off part of the AC bracket to make it fit. No issues after that...

What he said ^^^

I used the stock compressor on mine. I also used the 73 up style motor stands and mounts. I did have to modify my adapter plate as Glock recommended in the link above. I also made a brace to carry my pass. side engine stand. Pictures HERE
