fans (electric)
well i took off my fans today and put back the clutch fan. while i ws messin around with the distributor, i had another whole distributor in peices, so i put a stock one together. well i put it on, ALL STOCK COMPONENTS, so i can see if i can get the 12* initial timing. well i noticed that the engine felt HOT, but the gauge showed under 180*. i was listening to this guy the other day and he had soomething about he tried the whole electric fan deal and couldnt stop it from running hot. well i figured i would check it out and put the clutch fan back on with the shroud. well i can tell one thing, it sure moves ALOT more air than the electric fan.
as far as the timing, i dont know yet, i'll let yall know. BTW, i think my temp gauge is bad. anyway if it was running hot, it never boiled over. WE WILL SEE.

Wonder if the guy had a pusher fan and mounted it on the wrong side of the radiator where a puller fan is suppose to be?

i appreciate it russell, but i am kinda thinkin about AUTOMETER> but they are really pricey. i kick myself in the @$$, the buddy of mine that owns the wrecking yard had one from a 91 burb. everything was exactly the same. i left it cause all my gauges work and i dont take things if i dont need them. i dont wana burn him up and he think i am using him. this guy is a really good friend. now i wish i would have. yep its gone
