Soooo... finally found a few free minutes to drive the car a couple weeks ago and aired it up and went to pull out and... BANG! luckily I was in the garage when the bag blew. So I found a set of tubular lowers and got to work. The geometry was terrible before and caused the bags to rub on a protrution off the rear end. So I cut the upper mounts to a wedge shape to get them to point more vertical rather than rearward. Cut the protrutions off the rear end, mounted up the new bags and bolted all back together. More better! Don't mind the zip ties... didn't have time to fab the bolt down tab for the e-brake cables.
