1963 chevy s/b f/s 2wd to 4x4 frame
tried to take the box from my 2wd truck and bolt it to the frame of my 63 4x4 but the bolt holes do not line up. not even close . i believe i know how to solve the problem..... any body else run into this issue

If the 2WD is a 60-62 the frame width is different.

i do believe both trucks are 1963 one is chevy the other gmc....the one i removed the box from[2wd gmc] has no vin tag so perhaps it was a 62....hmmmmmmmm

I would say that either the bed is from a '60-'62, or your frame is a '60-'62. An easy way to tell, is the 2wd '60-'62's had the torsion bar front suspension. If the bed mounting brackets on your 4x4 frame are wider than the holes in the bed, then your frame is a '60-'62.
