Speed-o Cable question/images

hey guy, I'm in the middle of a tranny swap and noticed I need a new speed-o cable. (2wd 68 1/2ton)
After removing the one in the truck, I noticed it had a rubber grommet with little metal tabs/barbs at the firewall.. is this factory?
Will a store bought replacement come with the grommet?

any ideas?

Re: Speed-o Cable question/images

I doubt you will find one that comes with the grommet, LMC list a grommet and a 63 inch cable seperate. you can likely find a cable at your local parts store , although they usually carry universal cables. good luck
