shortbox stepside fenders

does anyone know of any other places besides LMC and Brothers that sells stepside fenders? really don't wanna pay $240 for a fender for the $100 box i am buying.(driverside fender is beat up pretty bad)

Check your local body shops and see where they get their steel. They're not OEM and they need to be massaged a little.

I went to the local auto parts store and asked them. They sold rockers, cab corners etc. and they pointed me to Keystone. Local to me, so no shipping. They had hoods, doors, floor pans, rockers, etc. When I asked them, their niche was supplying crash parts to body shops.
My '73 was slated for the crusher, so no $$ oem parts. This was in Maine, so a '73 there wasn't much left.

I bought the ones from LMC, they were very decent, nice and thick, just like original, all bolt holes lined up, but they were a little wavy, I did some massaging, and a bit of block sanding, and am pretty happy how they turned out. I am also pretty anal about body work so?????

i may go this route, but one fender costs more than double what i am getting the box for.
