'88 Suburban front end for disc brake conversion in '70 1/2 ton?

Hey,

Just wondering if I can use the front end out of a 1988 burb to bolt up to my '70 pickup so I have frot discs? Is the swap the same as using 73-87 front end parts for the conversion?

It should work fine. The Suburban carried the same design to 1991.

He threw in the steering box, linkages with tie-rods and everything from the 88 burb as well. Will this all bolt up as well, and eliminate the need for me to run a conversion sleeve for the tie-rods etc.? Sorry I'm new to this conversion. My truck already has power steering if that makes a difference?

You should be able to swap it all. There is a possibility of slight differences w/the steering box hoses vs earlier trucks (73-80) but it should still work.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
