I looked at these two yesterday. They both belonged to the guys grandpa and are for sale. The Blue '69 4x4 "garbage bin" is a nice truck. He said it was completely redone 13 years ago and has pretty much been parked where it is sitting now since that time. He starts it up every so often and drove it a couple of times last summer. It has a 350/4 speed combo in it. He's thinking he wants $7 - $8k for it.

The C-50 is also nice. It has a 427 tall deck in it. His grandpa was backing it in where it is parked a few years ago and it suddenly lost oil pressure. He said that it was not making any strange noises so I'm wondering if the oil pump pickup tube dropped off... It could probably be bought for scrap price.

You may need adult supervision too! Both those trucks look nice. If the 69 can be had for closer to $5k you could flip it and make some money. Looks like it was done well. Body and paint work good and still holding up?

Nice trucks.I see a bit of crust on the pickup's rocker panel.Makes me wonder what kind of job was done on that. The '67 C/50 is nice. I see someone put a 71/72 Cheyenne seat in it (or just used that type cover)

I had to look at the rocker panel closer too. That is actually glue from installing the rubber door seal. It either wasn't cleaned up or it ran down there before it dried. I didn't crawl underneath it or check out the inside of the cab close so that would all have to be checked out before any serious negotiations could start...

As much as I could see of the body and paint it looked good. A guy would have to look at it outside and with a good light underneath for a final decision though.

I would like to have both of them but I have more to do than I can handle already...

They might have gotten another tail gate when it was redone because it has upper trim and none around tail lights

I didn't ask a lot of questions but I think he said the side of the original bed was caved in so they shipped a bed up from Texas and put on it. The gate may be from the original bed...

I went over to the salvage yard this afternoon and asked the owner what scrap price would be on it and he said 5-700 dollars. It would be really neat if someone paid that for it and all that was wrong was the pickup tube. I know a way to test it to see if that is what it is but it might cost a few bucks to do it.
