4x4 Help
I have a 1994 Full-Size Blazer with the 4L60E with the dog-leg 4WD shifter mounted on the transfer case. I am able to shift into both 4-High and 4-Low with the indicator light showing, but the front axle does not pull. The actuator is working fine and the fuse is fine. I know that there is a switch on the transfer case also but I have not been able to check it out. There is also a good bit of play in the front drive shaft. Are there any fixes that you guys might know of or any tips?

Re: 4x4 Help
I think there is a vacuum actuated collar on the passanger side axle that slides over to engage the right side stub shaft. They conk out sometimes creating a similar experience you are describing. Everything shows fine but the front just doesn't engage. Have someone shift the t-case in and out while you stick your ear to that junction box and listen for engagement.
Hope that helps. -steve
