steering arm help
ok i bought a 4" lift for my 87 LWB GMC 1/2 ton pickup
and it came with a steering arm to replace my stock one. But i cant get the original arm off. Any one done this before. Any help would be nice

Heat with a torch then beat on it with a sledge front to back and you will start to see the little cone washers work their way up once there out far enough it should come right off. It may take awhile

heat, beat, heat, beat, and so on. I went as far as took everything off the end of the hub so I could get a better swing at it....good luck
