Door Window Part Help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Ok inside the door the window goes down a channel and in my driver side door it is missing...Where do I get this part and what is it called? I would like my window to stop wobbling and also go down all the way. (dude before me put a stop in the door so it wouldnt just fall in there and get stuck

Are you referring to the felt strip that fits in the channel?

no im reffering the channel itself on the inside of the door...It is complete gone...

LMC sells the rear channel for $20, but I'm sure you could get that piece at the salvage yard.

Yes, there is a channel to the rear of the side-glass window, that screws to the door jamb. The front edge of the side glass runs in a track that is integral with the wing window. As mentioned, it should be easy enough to find one at a salvage yard, if you don't want to purchase new. I have one on my workbench that came from the salvage yard, and it was much cheaper than ordering a replacement.

It looks like it should be part # 337715, from the exploded diagram I have, but just reffered to as a 'lift channel'.

Thx...might take a trip to pull a part in a couple weeks to try to get one
