Brake light

need a little help. my passanger side brake light is not work check the bulb, socket, and the wiring all good. but the parking lights work fine can anyone tell me what else to check.

UP GRADE i recently had the same problem & traced it to the firewall connector i cleaned it up plugged it back in & the lf brake light worked fine i cant say what the relationship was to the lf was & not sure if there is a lf & rt connection there......im happy it works

Ditto peglegs. If you haven't already done so, replace it. The 40 + year old wires my look fine on the outside but the wires will break and separate. This will have you pullin your hair out. Fix it once and you're good for another 50 years.

Try playing around with the turn signal with your foot on the brake. I had the same problem and fixed it by spaying electrical contact cleaner into the hole on the stearing column. I'll probably have to replace the switch eventually.

run a ground from the socket to the frame// if left brake light works fine there is nothing wrong with your firewall plug

you can also try a new light bulb

ok guys put in new bulb, ground it to the frame, check the wiring form the rear to the front all seem to be good anything esle that i need to check?

ok found out whats wrong with the brake light. its the the turn signal cam (the thing that move to turn the signal light on) everytime i push in on it and mash the brakes they come on. thanks for everyone help.
