Front Brake Hoses

Hello,
I have a couple of 71/72's. I also have a 1969. I want to convert the 69 to disc brakes. How can I remove the hoses for reuse? I hate to spend $50 on a new set these look good. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Front Brake Hoses

The brake hoses are diffrent for drums vs disc
you will have to change it out.
The hose for drum brakes screws directly into the back of the wheel cylinder were as the hose for the disc brake uses a banjo bolt to attach to the caliper
If you need a set of hoses I do actually have a pair that I will sell you

Be aware that these hoses may look good from the outside but the inside swells when they're old and they keep the brake fluid from flowing freely through them. This happened to me and has happened to a lot of other owners with original hoses.

Re: Front Brake Hoses

$50 is cheap insurance compared to brake failure results// is your body worth it ??
