71 cab on 68 frame and clip?
Hey does anyone know if a 71 cab will fit on a 68 frame and if the 68 front clip will still bolt on? Also are the interiors different as far as the dash? I have a 68 but I need a new cab and I found a decent 71.

Re: 71 cab on 68 frame and clip?
I have a 68 cab on my 71. Everything fits and works fine. The e brake is the biggest difference. The 68 is a pull handle and the 71 is a foot pedal.

Re: 71 cab on 68 frame and clip?
The cab will bolt on fine, you'll need to use 67/68 radiator bushings for the front to work for ya, the interiors on the 71 and 68 are somewhat different in that the ebrake for a 68 was done by hand, but on the 71 it was foot operated....I'm sure I'm missing a few things

Re: 71 cab on 68 frame and clip?
The throttle pedal assembly in the '71 cab is different and uses a cable for linkage. No big deal there. Just use all '71 parts, same as e-brake.
