Re: Do it yourself bed liner

I have used Als, Herculiner, and Duplicolor. Herculiner works great for the do it yourself project, use the UV coating if it will be in the sun or it will fade. I used als on the bottom of my 442 for rust prevention and to help with noise. It worked great and had the typical truck bed coating texture. It dries fast in warm weather be ready when you start to finish the job! You do have to purchase the spray gun but it can be reused. Duplicolor spray is nice and smooth but let the finish under it dry completely (weeks) or it can lift. Tried it on a truck I painted a few years back paint was a week old and it lifted. That being said I use underhood on many of my projects and it looks nice.
