Is the value here ?

Looking at another project for my son...
1972 Shortwide...project
Rolling chassis with all new parts and a ece 4/6 drop
Original rust free cab/doors with smooth firewall and all drip rails smoothed off. All bodywork is perfect. The rest of body is rust free and nice other then a little work to the bed sides. Rest of truck is all in box's.
Missing.....grill & shell, radiator, engine, trans, bumper and column and more then likely a ton of little stuff. Does have title and matching vin plate.
To finish we would just buy a complete running parts truck to make one complete truck and sell off the rest.
Does 2k sound out of line for this project?

Re: Is the value here ?

You'll have wy more than 2 K in bodywork to get to where it is.I would say it's well worth it.

Re: Is the value here ?

That's a good deal. I was happy to buy a clean rolling (minus wheels & tires) short frame with ECE 4/6 drop and everything rebuilt for $1,000. The rust free cab ready for paint is worth another $1,000,everything else is free. The ECE 4/6 drop is around $800
