Electric fans behind grille?
Right now my '73 doesn't even have a fan clutch and I want to replace the belt driven fan with electrics. I'm wondering if I can put "pusher" fans in between the grille and radiator, instead of using "puller" fans on the back of the radiator? Has anybody done this?

Re: Electric fans behind grille?
It can be done, but its not as efficient. The fans tend to restrict the airflow a small percent.

Re: Electric fans behind grille?
I used them on my 82 without any problems, not sure about the space between grille and rad on a 73 though.
