Rally Wheel Centers
Lately I have noticed a few ppl running the 73-87 rallys with the old corvette style dog dish centers. Anyone know how this is done? I am running rallys myself and dont run centers atm because I dont like the look of the oem centers personally. I would love to put some type of dog dish center on my wheels. I am sure I could fabricate some type of clip to use the current bolt holes on my wheels but with limit time and the fact that I'm a bit lazy when it comes to fab. work, I would rather buy something already to go.
Something like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-Corvet...5be84a&vxp=mtr |

Re: Rally Wheel Centers
I don't think those will fit on GM truck rally wheels, they do fit the corvette rally wheels that look similar but have bigger and fewer slots around the outer part of the center

Re: Rally Wheel Centers
What kind of rallys are you running. I would check on the wheel vintiques web sight. They sell a pre-71 version of that cap and a post-71.

Rich, thanks for the link.... I was thinking it was something like that but was hoping I could take the easy way and buy something... getting lazy as I get older... ![]() Forest, I am running a set of rallys off of a late 79's early 80's truck. I have the centers for them but would love to run the dog dish style... just looks cleaner and more simple. I know about the Wheel Vintiques but they don't make a center like that for my wheel that I am aware of. Thanks for the info tho. |
