Starter Problems

Hi everybody. I have a 1976 c10. The starter keeps dying and the fusible link on the firewall keeps buring out when I turn the key (about every eight starts). Has anyone had this problem?

Re: Starter Problems

Yeah, twice.Once, when a ground from the engine broke, and another, when the solenoid went bad. A loose starter,or solenoid can cause it,too.
