Shocks!
Got my truck back together last night, still need to drop another 1.5" - 2". If i do this my shocks will only have about an inch of travel left, not comfortable with that. And i have a bone to pick with several shock companies on summit, why do their so called lowering shocks have a longer collapsed length than their stock height shocks!? I put pro comps toxic shocks on yesterday which have a collapsed of roughly 9.25" would prefer something with 8.5" if possible, any help?? Truck is riding great other than that. Thanks again

Re: Shocks!
I've always run stock shocks on the front, regardless of how low it is with no issues. I also use stock on the rear with shock extenders. How much did you lower your truck and what kit or parts did you use?

Re: Shocks!
I just rebuilt the front with all new bushings and 3inch djm spindles. The front shocks are supposed to be stock length pro comp toxic shocks from summit, which are a little shorter than stock by about 1/8th to 3/16ths. I remeasured and have 3.5in of shock travel left that way it sits, so dropping another 1.5" to 2 inch would leave 1.5" of shock before it bottoms out, is that really enough? Also how long should i drive to allow the springs to settle down? Thanks again

Re: Shocks!
Drive for about a month on my truck before the springs settled completely

Drove it a little today, seems to have settled a little. Thanks for the link!, would solve all my problems, has anyone used these or any similar brackets?

Re: Shocks!
Those shock relocations look good. If anything reinforce that part of the frame to keep the top rail from flexing
