Ideally, there is not supposed to a gap at all, but on most aftermarket fan shrouds there are. Mine had a very small gap of like 1/16th of an inch from the shroud to the radiator. However, there is another gap that is after the shroud and radiator that is just a stock gap. I did not like either one, so I picked up some self adheasive rubberized felt at Home Creepo and solved the problem. See Photo:

So do you think mine is a aftermarket? I'm wondering if the radiator hold downs are correct.

Does look like an aftermarket...but hard to tell from the photo. Something does not look quite right with the upper mounts on the shroud. From the photo the holddowns look correct. Did you try turning the shroud 180...I don't know if that would make a difference or not.

Re: BB Radiator Shroud ?

Andrew, you need a 4 core radiator to mount your shroud to.

Re: BB Radiator Shroud ?

You have a aftermarket 2 or 3 core radiator, BB's came with 4 core radiators, with 4 core holders

Re: BB Radiator Shroud ?

That looks like a 2 row. If you take the cap off and look inside you can count the rows. Tell them you want the other half of your radiator.
