Smile Deciding

hope you guys can shed some light on what I might have here. I owned a 69 GMC 1500 with factory buckets and console for 30 years.I restored it 1 time and was stripping for a second time. It had a 305 but I built a strong 4 bolt for it (still unused to date) not having time the truck sat ready for the resto when a young neibor boy talked me out of it. we cut a deal. This young man has done a ton of work to it, stripped down to frame, powder coated frame and rebuilt everything ie:bushings, shackes, etc, it has 2inch dropped front spindles with disk brakes. rear is still stock . he replaced all rusted metel in cab and primed. bed still untouched, as are the doors and the interiour. all interour will need to be redone as well as the door panels. will need all new glass, trans is built 350 short shaft with mild stall. engine is 350 4 bolt with all the goodies. (never run)
we'll ,you guessed it ,he now has other intrest (girls, school, sports) and wants to sell back to me. what would be a good price for this ride finished?
any other advise would be greatly apprecited also.I have abrunch of pics but didn't know weather to place here so I'll just wait and see. Thanks for a great site and I have learned a ton as i have been considering doing the project.

Re: Deciding

If your looking to host the pics, I would post them in our Forum Gallery- LINK

You need to factor in what has been done, and what your willing to pay to help a good kid out. What's he looking to do with the money? Maybe you could make a trade.

Do you want to know what the truck would be worth if you finished it, or are you asking what is a good price for where its at right now?

And BTW there is a help section for most websites, but it isn't called help its called FAQ and there is one for this site near the top of the page, click and whalaaa, tons of info =)

Re: Deciding

I have posted some more pics here
http://s1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc425/feeln17/

I would like a good asking price as it sits and maybe lets say a guy was to do assamble ,wiring, carpet, glass and new door seals, drop in the motor/trans ,maybe switch out the rear for a 12 bolt w/disc ( need it with power motor puts out) and drives it around. I would like to have it back myself but I have so many other things going on.
the Kid put over a 1,000 in metal not counting the labor his dad did(welding) he put a lot of hours sandblasting, priming sanding. So any info would be greatly apprecited.
