Re: It's a GREAT Day!!!!!!!!

Ahem.... Pictures please!

And some details! Did you use a kit? Factory parts (from a newer verhicle like an Imp)? etc etc!

I am curious how much difference you noted between disk/drum and disk/disk (I am assuming you had disk in front already?) - that would be a good data point for a 66 guy trying to decide on Disk/Drum vs. Disk/Disk up front.

Congrats! Looking fwd to some more info, sounds interesting.

Re: It's a GREAT Day!!!!!!!!

i did'nt use a kit, i bought some brackets off ebay and used s-10 calipers and rotors from a 88-93 k-1500 had to do alot of working on it like turning the nub down on the axles so the rotors would slide on and cutting the caliper bolts off a bit so the wheel would turn, my brakes were not so good so these things are like caddy brakes now, truck had 4 wheel drum so when i got it the first thing i did was put drop spindles and disc on front.
don't know if i'll get any pics up everything is put back together and truck is waiting to get washed got a show next weekend and last year i got best paint at this show . I'll try to do it again this year. if i get pics i;ll put them on .
