Misc. soft top parts, used
I have some soft top parts that were loose in the back of a Blazer I bought awhile back. I don't know what parts are missing or even how these parts work together. For all I know, some of this stuff might not even be from the top. I did not see a brand name. None of the soft panels looks useable for anything but a template. What you see is all I have. Buyer can take all of it or specify which parts they might want if they don't want to pay shipping for all of it. Shipping is likely to be bad because of the size of the top bows (they separate in the middle but they are still big. NEW PRICE, $100.00 shipped.

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
FYI that's an STC Fast Trac top, I have one for my Blazer. The only thing you may be missing is two small brackets that the front bow goes into that mount to the bedsides, they are probably black. They may be on the bow, the middle one in the top photo, it's hard to tell. I have a set of instructions for this top I would be willing to scan and post if they are needed.

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
Looking again I don't see the bracket that mounts to the tailgate to hold the bottom of the rear window.

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
Thanks for the info Jason. Only one of the bows has anything attached to the ends, a sort of channel thing that looks similar to the two channels in the picture on the hood. I appreciate your offer of the instructions scan. I don't have plans to use this but I bet it would make it easier for someone to figure out what is and isn't here. Frank

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
I'll take it. I can pick it up on Saturday if you're willing to hold onto it for me until then. I hope I'm not jumping in front of anyone.

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
Way better deal! I'd keep the roll cage and the wife! If anyone else can use parts of this let me know. The whole things is way too expansive to ship.

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
Shipping costs alone to Vancouver WA are $119.40. I have been playing phone tag with Brianhill6 so he is still first up. Frank

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
I just bought a softopper and their shipping via UPS ground was $45.95. It was from Colorado to NY. Bows were taken apart and it all came in a box about 5" thick 18" wide and about 5' long. I already threw out the box or I could get you exact measurements. I guess the key is getting it packed under the size that triggers oversize charge.

These bows are two piece. Since they are essentially a right angle when separated there is no way to make them fit in those dimensions. I wish I could but I can't. I could probably make more of a triangle out of it but I don't know how much smaller that would make it in UPS's eyes. The 41" single side and 54 lb weight is still going to get way above $45.95. Softopper probably gets special rates for volume shipping. I just get bent over. |

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
I just went to UPS's site again, and played with different dimensions. It does get much cheaper if I can get rid of one of the 41" measurements. The problem is I don't see any way to do it. I may have to open up my box and see what the shortest leg of the "L" shape bow half is.

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
Brianhill6 and others. Hold off on making a decision for now. Based on Rsavages info I have been playing with numbers. If I can get one side down to even 24" it makes a huge difference in cost. I am going to have another look at this and will post any new information on here. Frank

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
Okay, I think I can get this to be 24x54x9 at 54lbs. At those dimensions to Brianhill 95361 cost should be $32.91, and to crewcab67 at 98682 cost would be $41.96. I only laid it out and haven't built the box around it so these are estimates but I feel pretty sure it won't be off too much either smaller or larger. Thanks very much to Rsavage for bringing this to my attention.

Re: Misc. soft top parts, used
New price $100.00 shipped. If you are on the east coast I probably won't make the money I spent on tape but I want this gone (and have too many projects to give it away).
