? about a fuse

my brake light and park lights same fuse gets hot when i put it in i cant find no bad wires it sparks and turns red but has not blown i only use it when i drive at nite can anyone help thanks bill

I had the exact problem, turns out the wire going to my lisence plate lights (they were hooked up to the parking light circuit) had a hole worn in the insulation and was grounding out on the frame.

Check the wires going to your parking and marker lights to look for any obvious holes in the insulation.

well check for holes and pinched wires between your fenderrs etc... also check the wire that used to be used for the illumination on your factory radio, might be lightly grounding on something, having a glowing fuse like that is just asking for a fire
