project 82 frankenstien

hey i have just got subscribed and have decided to start a tread about my project truck. A little about me first I am 18 and live in Elkhart, Indiana i have been working on cars sense i was able to walk.
Ok time for truck its an 82 gmc k20 frame with 4inch front lift and 2inch rear block wanting to put an O.R.D. shackle flip to replace the block.
the motor is a tired 4bolt main 350.
trans is 4speed with granny gear.
cab is 86 c20 with a k25 tunnel welded in it.
I'm debating finding a rust free bed or just maken it a flat bed.
this truck is gonna be my dd im going to school in ohio and will have to drive home every weekend so motor i put in the truck i want to get good gas mileage but be able to go play i have 37's millitary tires waiting to run.
