eaton ho52

got an eaton ho52 out of my 71 k20. worke perfect. new bearings. breaks hardware seals wheel cylinders cut drums. comes with extra set of break shoes. worked great drove with it everyday. thought i heard a noise in it. so i bought a 14bolt ff disc. but when i did the tear down and pulled the wheels off. one axle bolt was rolling in the center cap of the rim. so noise was nothing. ratio is 4.10 open have the extra set of break shoes too which are hard to get. axle is straight and ready to roll for a long time. only thing missing is the shock mounts. i needed them for the 14 bolt. asking 250.

Re: eaton ho52

Where did you order your parts from? I have an HO72 and have searched the world over and can't find a damn thing for it.
It's a great rear. They both are. Very heavy duty for duallys and 4x4's.

very true...not as hard to find as it seems... I have an Eaton52 and a Dana60...I prefer the Eaton really.. I think its more "beefy" and sturdy.

well the prob is... whole rear ends weigh in at a light 400 lbs. I am in Indiana... Freight charges would make anyone faint...lol I just want the posi setup because I already have an Dana60 I am trying to get rid of with leaf suspension and it has all new brake hardware like yours... Hard fittings and hoses... soo yeah

Hey I have a freight team now and can ship this for you and any potential buyer. You would just have to secure it to a skid/pallet. It is really affordable especially with your selling price.
