is my truck a 3/4 ton or a 1 ton?
when i bought my truck the guy said it was a 1 ton. according to the vin, it says its a 3/4 ton, but i dont know. i have a 14 bolt eaton posi with 4:11 gears. i have huge leaf packs with overloads. the emblem says sierra classic 25. So is it a 1ton or a 3/4 ton?

That is a 3/4 ton. If you look at your last pic, the shock is bolted to the outside of the frame. On a 1 ton they are inside of the frame rails.

If the vin says 3/4 i'd say 3/4. full floaters could be ordered with both i believe.
