Talking 19.5 wheels

Is there any one out there with a 67-72 chevy or gmc truck with factory 18 or 19.5 wheels. Was wondering if in your glove box it mentions special order or heavy spec.

Re: 19.5 wheels

I would be very surprised to learn if anything like that has ever existed but you never know what GM would do on a special order.

Re: 19.5 wheels

I saw a 69 with CST badges on the fenders, that was the only thing CST I could find on it so I'm not sure if it didnt 'just get the fenders put on it sometime. It' had 18" inch wheels on it I believe. SPID was so molded it couldn't be read so I couldn't find out it's true identity. It had a 6 cyl. in it so that was what first got me questioning if it was really a CST. It was a C/20 by the way. I wish I'd taken some pics that day.

Re: 19.5 wheels

looks good on there but if you like sinister, getsteel wheels that look stock and powder coat them black.you can get them from reckson or look for a set from a 1955-66 in 19.5 with the poverty cap in the middle.I think they were on a panel wagon or bus or something like that.or paint your black and paint the lugs or get cad plated lugs...........looks hot!

Re: 19.5 wheels

Here's a 1970 C-20 with 19.5" Kelsey wheels. The glovebox door was off the truck when I got it so I don't know what it said on the SPID. Truck has long since been scrapped, but I kept the wheels.

Re: 19.5 wheels

These are the same wheels that were on that 69 with the CST bacges, guess they were 19.5's. I was looking for a usable cab with a good title and there was nothing good about that cab and I didn't really see the $250. that the guy asked me for it!
