Cable Clutch linkage or Hydraulic clutch
I'm thinking of putting a 454 with richmond 5 speed into a 68 with 307 and 3spd. I've heard the BB sets the engine back and I don't want to go throught the hassle of relocating and modifying the linkage and zbar, etc. Is there anyone that sells a kit or makes the necessary parts to do this combo? Any help is appreciated.

I doubt there is a kit, but I may be wrong.
They did make big block trucks with 4 speeds, maybe you could locate the parts and do it up like stock? |

"Ditto", I doubt that you will find a kit for hyd clutch.....you can set it up but will be into some fab time.you might look at a hyd throw out bearing setup(not cheap tho!) I have stock linkage on my longhorn(modified), it has rod ends, & the rod has been set up for a straight shot from the peddle to the bell crank. Im am shifting a 6 spd Richmond/with Centerforce clutch,& the setup works very nice. Good luck, crazyL
