Cheap 18" steelies?

I have been immersed in the 4x4 world for the last decade so be kind to me if this is a dumb question and common knowledge to everyone else. I have a brand new set of 18" tires sitting in my garage that came off my wife's new suv. I would like to find some CHEAP 18" steel wheels that could be used on my 72. So is there an OEM vehicle out there in the salvage yards that had a 5 on 5 lug pattern and an 18" spare? Or at very least is there a very cheap aftermarket steel wheel that I could pick up? So far I haven't been able to turn anything up. By the way, cheap to me would be about $50 per rim. I really am not worried about looks too much at this point, just hate to see these new tires not getting use and the truck is a beater at the moment anyway.

Re: Cheap 18" steelies?

I can't think of too many vehicles that even have the 5x5 pattern....

Some newer Jeep's have the 5x5, not all. You may look for their aluminum wheels on craigslist...I don't know if they had steel spares. You may need to get a 5x5.5 or other pattern and use a spacer/adapter...that'll let you use some of these spare wheels with their large offsets...(then the cost adds up.)
