PULLING TRAILER WITH C NOTCHED FRAME... to CUT or NOT CUT???

Anyone pulling a trailer with a C Notchhed Frame? I have a short Bed 65 Fleet Side. Bags in Rear Drop Spindles up Front. I would like to have more suspension in the back and go a little lower.
Installing a reece frame hitch.
I will be pulling a small double axle catering trailer with electric brakes. I don't want to cut the frame if I am compromising frame strength.

Those of you that have C Notched:
Do you notice any difference in the strength of your frame behind the AXLE?

Re: PULLING TRAILER WITH C NOTCHED FRAME... to CUT or NOT CUT???

Trailer Tung weight is about 200lbs. Its a double axle trailer so all of the weight is on the trailer itself. + trailer is only 10' long. 2000lbs total trailer weight. I have the 2500lb air bags in rear. KYB shocks. 350 ci with 700R4 trans . 373 gears. I am going to air up the bags when the trailer is behind it. W/O trailer behind truck I air bags down to about 10lbs- But I only have about 2.5 " of suspension travel when truck sits level.

Those engineering drawings are very informative with the c notch data. -

Based on what i saw with these drawing spects- the only sure way to c noth w/o comprimising strenth is to do the boxed Full/exagerated C notch. Everything else weakens the frame to different degrees. The constant movement of the trailer/hiting bumps in road would probably wreak havoc on a standard C notch.

I think I will just leave the frame stock for now.
