Welcome to the forum! I have no technical input as far as transplanting it, but I do have a fairly healthy LT1 in my 92 Corvette. Gets good fuel economy, and enough power to get in a lot of trouble. More of a higher RPM motor, but when you turn it up they run pretty well...
