Is anyone tracking recent prices for complete drop outs with engine, trans, wiring, accessories, computers, pedal, etc?

say on:

5.3/4L80E or 6.0/4L80E

Re: LS prices.....

They vary based on mileage year and your location. Also on how long you want to shop around. There are deals out there if you look. The last 2 I bought as a package deal for the pair was 3100. They came with pretty much everything but the pedals. That was a couple of years ago.

I looked at an 06 6.0/4L80E (LQ4) today with everything, engine, trans, wiring, ECM, TCM, TAC and accessories even including pedal for $3000 with 50,000 miles but wasn't sure of the price...

From what I've seen, thats about $700 to high.

They're all over ebay and craigslist, just take your time and look for the best deal for you!

I paid $550 for my 5.3 with 120K, everything but trans. That was the deal I was looking for.

Re: LS prices.....

Prices seem to be all over the map, but you should be able to go to a yard and get a combo for $1500 generally speaking. I got a 60K mile 5.3L for $400 from Craigslist, complete with accessories, intake, etc. but no harness or computer.

IMO the convenience of buying the whole package from a known vehicle and with a warranty is worth a few hundred bucks.
