Radiator brackets?

I have a 72 c10 with 350. I got a new 4 row radiator and didn't think about my stock brackets not being large enough, stock rad was a 2 row. My question is what trucks used the bigger brackets stock, so I can go search the junk yard. I found some online and they seemed very expensive. Does anybody have any laying around they wanna sell? Thanks

Re: Radiator brackets?

And if you go to the salvage yard bring a sharp flat head and hammer to get the bottom brackets out because they have rivets holding them. I learnd the hard way.

I need a complete set of these brackets too..

Will the brackets from a square body work? Upper or lower?

Re: Radiator brackets?

I don't know about the SB brackets but most BB vendors carry a bracket/cushion set. It's easy to install but you do have to clearance the bottom of the rad support.Took me about 10 min with a hacksaw and channel locks.

Re: Radiator brackets?

I used a couple bolts. The rubber cushions are relieved so they don't interfere with them seating in the mounts. The upper mounts move to the outside holes set up for them from the factory.

Re: Radiator brackets?

I found it was hard to put bolts in because the frame was in the way. I ended up just welding them in there and had one riveted in but would like to rivet the other as well. Just wanted to make sure it was secured and wouldnt move. My welding sucks and aint pretty but just as long as it sticks there.
