99 Chevrolet Suburban 2WD 1500 series negative battery terminal
Is it normal when removing the negative battery terminal that the car dies? I thought that was what the alternator was for?
My negative battery terminal is loose, when I wiggle the wire the whole car dies. No lights....no nothing. |

Just an fyi removing the neative cable with it running can cause a voltage spike and fry the computer and and alt. It is normal for it to die because your losing the ground for the whole system
