1998 steering wheel on a 1977?
Does anyone know if it'll fit? I know the previous versions without the airbag will fit but not sure. I did some google searching but couldn't find the answer.

I would say it would. (but could be proved wrong) GM used the same shaft for years... If I did do that I would use a non-bagged equipped one. Yes they are available without bag, but are rare.

May just go grab one from the junkyard on an earlier one. Really liked the feel of the one on my 90. This 98 is a parts truck my buddy has.

I think anything up to 1994 fits. Thats what I was told anyways.
