GM floor mats...3rd row?
Hey,
I have found some burgandy/maroon/red GM rubber floor mats to go in the front and center rows of in my 83 suburban with it's sweet "10 shades of red" interior. Here is the question: Did the factory ever put any sort of floor mat for the 3rd row of seats, whether it be carpet or rubber ? Thanks, Blake |

Re: GM floor mats...3rd row?
I have researched this in the past and never had any luck. I do know that (at least accordingly to the orginal and only previous owner) that the floormats in it came with it when new...and the 3rd row is the same as the second row (so too long). I didn't want to cut it up so I just took a carboard template of the shape I wanted to an auto upholstery place and they made me a carpet one to put back there.

Re: GM floor mats...3rd row?
That would be so odd...it takes about a 48 inch wide mat for the third row, much shorter than the middle row mat that is almost 60 inches.
Anyone else what to confirm? |

Re: GM floor mats...3rd row?
I am pretty certain GM only put rubber floor mats in the front of the truck and only in the second row/first back seat of the Suburban. I know my Blazer has the rubber GM floor mats in the front and a long one in front of the back seat.

Re: GM floor mats...3rd row?
I'm sorry - I don't remember.
I thought about it but was remembering that we had a third row mat for the later models (GMT400/800/900) but could not recall what we did for C/K/R/V trucks. K

I pulled the info packet for an '87 R/V Suburban and it specifies front row (B32) and second row (B33) but no mention of third row: I think the area forward of the third row seat was just too small to do anything with it. K

Re: GM floor mats...3rd row?
Thank you so much man!
I fiqured that a 3rd row mat was just one less thing to worry about when taking out the 3rd row seat. |
