Inner Fenders on a Budget

About 4 Hours and 2 $30 trailer fenders later...

I didn't realize how much clearance the tires would need, but the inner fenders had to be placed almost even with the tops of the fenders, allowing about a 1/4" gap when the truck is laid out. Some massaging the bottom side of the hood will need to be done, but shouldn't be too big of a deal.

Next up is a set up Porterbuilt hood hinges, and all the welding and cutting should finally be complete.

Looks good! Did you get them locally or online? If online, mind shooting out a link?

So I take it your gonna modify the hood to fit since they look in the way of it laying flat?

I picked the fenders up locally. Any trailer supply should have them in stock. These are 9" wide.

Yes. I looked at the hood and it looks like I can just cut the pinch weld section that extends below the top of the fender. I only have to cut the distance that the inner fender is exposed. I can the weld the hood back up. Shouldn't be too difficult. I'll post some more pics after I get that done.
