I dunno the actual production numbers, but ANY 67-72 panel is rare and worth buying if it is in good shape. Panels are just plain cool....if the price is right buy it

One of these days i want to somehow lay my hands on a '67 panel, paint it hugger orange, slam it, slap on some 17" wheels, and put a mean 383 under the hood.........

Not quite as rare as i thought, but still not common. I haven't even seen a 67-72 Panel before besides pics here on the board. A K10 would be a helluva find, along with a K20.....wonder how many still exist today?

Yellow,

In my book, only 4801 produced is pretty damned rare!

Isn't C-10 all 1/2 ton 2WD trucks? That means the 1/2 ton panel is a small fraction of the total C-10 production. Would a 7% estimate be in line for panel production? That translates to 336 produced in 1968.

So there were only 6500 trucks total produced in '68, or 6500 panels?

Oh, my bad. I assumed the stats were for all production. So that means they made 3/4 ton 4X4 panels!! WOW, if never seen one

Yeah, I would like to see one of the 4x4 panels, period. *Drools* a '68 50th 3/4 4x4 4 speed with a/c....
Look how rare 4x4 Subs are, and look at how disproportionate few 4x4 panels were made in comparison to 2x4. I bet most of those 4x4 panels were beat to death working. It'd be interesting to see one, of any year.

I went to look and its kinda rough for me, both qtrs, doors, fenders etc. $950 will get it. But what else I saw was worth it. He's got some of the best rides I've seen. Outside 57 Chevy Nomad, 57 truck, 52 Ford truck silver with purple flames. Inside 69 Z-28 w/ a 427, 59 Elcamio w/a 409, 63 Chev truck w/a red metalflakepaint job, 2 big block Vettes and more parts etc. I 'm gettin 2 tires like the ones I got for $80. Anybody interested in the panel PM me and I'll help.

GMC Paul's has the only factory 68 (Or any year for that matter) 4X4 panel that I've seen on this board.
