Got Some Income... What to Spend it on....

SOoooooo I broke down and Sold my other Car... (1994 Caprice Classic Impala SS Clone) for 2K.... Many of Ya Already Know My Plans. For the The Rodeo Rig... If Not heres the Back Story on him.... 88 GMC 3500 Crew Cab Dually, 2wd Flatbed,, 454 and 4.10s at least in the rear.... I wanna Make it a 4wd, 5.9 Cummins with better gearing for running down the road.... I have a Dana 60 already... My Question is Where do y'all think I should invest the money right now..... into the Cummins and Tranny or make the 4x4 Functional as he runs right now???

Opinions guys!

Depends on if your gonna tear the whole thing down at once, or do it bits and pieces. If you do the full tear down, then it doesnt matter if you buy the cummins now, but if you wait, u might not be able to get the cummins when you want and for the price you want, you will always be able to get the chassis and axles and stuff. just my $0.02 though.

If you have your heart set on a cummins then jump on it, cause up here in alaska they are few and far between, in nebraska they might be a dime a dozen. On craigslist up here there are 2 cummins engines, one $3000 and the other $3500, the parts for your axle swap are and will always be available. Just depends on what is more important to you, 4x4 or Cummins?? Only u can decide. Would like to see some pics though
