Re: Just in time for Christmas

Good to see Paul. I just got mine back too but Mine is headed to the paint shop soon. That weight sounds awesome. Have you lightened your doors at all?

I have not lightened my reproduction doors at all. I still have vent windows, and full regulators in both doors, with glass windows as well. I will test 1st weekend in November the way it is, and see if I need to lose more, so I can add in back where I need it to meet minimum weight requirements. Paul

Awesome truck, any updates on how your new suspension is proving out? Street and strip, plus what coil over are you running out back? Any tips?

Re: Just in time for Christmas

Are you using the car bolt pattern on your wheels? What size wheel and tire are you running on the back? I also like your color combo too.

The suspension has worked out great! Now I just need to motivate the chassis guy to find someone to produce all the brackets for a reasonable cost, so we can produce, and sell them. The rear coil-overs are Koni double adjustables. Tell me what you have in your truck, what it has done on it's passes, and what your goals are, and I will be glad to help you out. Paul

Thanks redsled, It is a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. The rear wheels are 15x10, with a 29.5x10.5 slick. I will have a new pair of 28x10.5 this weekend to test with in the next couple months. I hope with the converter change, and some tuning time, to greatly improve all my numbers. The colors are Mini Cooper blue, and white for the early models of the modern version. Paul

427 DART sbc, 565 hp/tq, 3.73 gears and posi being installed now, and turbo 350- 3500 stall/trans brake. Funding got tight so drag radials are the only traction improvement for the summer. Stock suspension, asking questions and planning for the future. No runs yet. Thanks for any advice.
