Blazer Jimmy rear carpet strips

I was going through some old parts in the barn and came across these carpet strips. I made a note on them that I took them out of a 1972 CST Blazer. I am now giving some consideration to putting carpet in the rear of my 1972 Jimmy. It did not originally have carpet, but I am thinking. My question is about the strips. They are both pretty clean and nice, but one of them is a little wavey. I suspect just mounting them with the screws would pull them somewhat back into flat. Has anyone had success in working on these to get them back to flat? My pictures aren't great, but they might show what I am talking about. Thanks

Re: Blazer Jimmy rear carpet strips

Sure. they will flatten out. You can carefully roll the spots over a wooden dowel too to take the bends out.
