Best way to clean light rust off of chrome trim and bumpers
I am ready to start cleaning off the light rust and gunk on the front grill, bumpers, .... and am looking for suggestions on the best way. I see Turtle Wax makes chrome polish - maybe that simple?? Any help would be appreciated. After cleaning, do I need to 'wax' or protect with something?

Re: Best way to clean light rust off of chrome trim and bumpers
The best thing I have used that takes minimal elbow grease is 000 steel wool, less than $5 for a bag of it and it will clean and polish chrome like nothing! Give it a shot, it is way less work than the turtle wax stuff.

Re: Best way to clean light rust off of chrome trim and bumpers
Steel wool is the best way that I have found to clean light rust off chrome. I use chrome polish with the steel wool and it does the job.
