6 Dolphin Guage install for 1948 3100 Help

Ok, I have searched for too long on the website.

I keep coming up with people who only have 55+ chevy installs on this gauge set.

I have attached a picture of my gauges.

They are mechanical Dolphin gauges and I would like to put them in my 48.

I would have loved to put in the factory gauges, but I really wanted to have my tach and all of the other gauges flush mounted on my dash + whatever nice guy had the truck before me customized the panel with a gauge cluster that is boring and he took out the option of mounting the 5 inch gauges.

I know the original dash was done with the 5 inch gauges, but i do not like it and want to change it.

I have a few quick questions.

1st, Do these gauges light up when they are installed? If not, how do i make them visible.

I really would like to see pictures of 3100 series installs of six gauges if there are any. I also wanted to know if there is anywhere i can get a panel to install them instead of having to do all custom fibreglass work....

Any help with this would be great
